You get what you pay for

Last night, Anna and I cracked open the 'Two Thumbs Up" wine I bought her as gift when she finished her bar admission tests in 2005. We got it while on our Okanagan wine tour, at Fairview Winery (previously mentioned as a place with good wine yet ugly labels and I couldn't remember the name of the place). I do believe I shelled out a large chunk of cash for the bottle, but it does come through in the quality. Very nice, smooth, balanced wine. Lovely flavour, not quite as heavy as I would have expected, but still very pleasing. Two thumbs up.
