Masi Soave

Masi Soave Classico $16.05

Soave (pronounced SWAH-vay) should be a very drinkable white wine from the Veneto region in Italy, and generally not too expensive. This is likeable, and drinkable, a dry white with some citrusy tones, apricot and honey. I don't think I appreciate paying $16 for it (maybe $14, but not $16). The Pinot Grigios I reviewed earlier would be a better buy. The liquor store also carries a Bolla Soave that I think I will try and hope is a bit better. Drink this Masi Soave if somebody gives it to you and enjoy, but don't bother purchasing yourself, it isn't worth the price.
